Mama Delfina C Mbabu

It is with humble submission to God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Delfina C. Mbabu which occurred on 17th January 2020.

Delfina was daughter of the Late Dominic and Susana M’Mbui and step-daughter of Phyllis M’Mbui. She was the beloved wife of Mathias B. Mbabu and devoted mother of the Late Angela Kageni, Benson Gitonga, Archangelo Mbabu, Juliet Kariuki, Albert K. Mbabu, Lucy Mugambi, Margaret Mbabu and John Mbabu. She was also adopted mother of Purity Karegi and mother-in-law of Julius, Kawira, Pauline, Kariuki, Kathomi, Mugambi, Lloyd,Anne and Mwiti. She was sister of Felista, Benedict, Carlo, Sabastian,William, Late Kaari, Musyoka, Late Asunta, Anselimina, Mbaka, Mutegi, Kagendo, Medline, Gitonga and Late Muthoni. She is survived by 25 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be held in Nairobi at All Saints Cathedral from Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd January at 5:00 p.m and at her Chera home from 21st to 24th January 2020.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral home in Embu on Saturday 25th January at 8 a.m for the Requiem mass which will be held at Kanyuru School grounds, Chuka -Tharaka Nithi County, at 10:00 a.m.
