It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mama Domtila Akinyi Awuor, our loving and devoted grandmother, mother, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on 26th July, 2022. She left us after a long illness.

Daughter to the late Adika Amor and Adala of Boro Naya. She was the wife of the late Francis Awuor Ayuoyo of Masiro Nyang’ungu. She was co-wife to Adelea Lumbugu (late) and Josphine Awino (late) Mother to Zachary Odhiambo, Margret Adhiambo, Alfred Omondi auma), Andrew Ouma, Cleophaus Ayuoyo (late) and Collins Ochieng (late).

Step-mother to Helidah Olengo, Charles Kawuor, Rose Adhiambo, Gaudencia Amollo (late), Silvester Omondi (late), Bonaface Araka (late) and Nyaoro (late).

Grandmother to Kevin, Collins, Samuel, Elvis, Bonface, Bonface Omollo, Stephen, Mildred, Wyclife, Edward, Vera, Caroline, George, Maryline, Oscar; Moses Ian, Cheryl, Alex, Maurice, Celestine, Fredrick, Juma, Alfred Odipo, Vitalis, Vincent, Silvester Mudenyo, Vivian, Caren, Angela, Kevin, Kennedy, Josphine, Jeraldine, Ivy, Tamara, Stephane, Sheril, Hesbon, David, Michael, Eunice, Ruth, Gorety, Pauline, Kevin, Elizabeth, Josphine, Victor, Nancy, Marion, Rispar and others.

A fundraiser to offset medical expenses will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Monday, 1st August, 2022 from 4.00pm to 7:30pm. Contribution may be sent to 0727400078 (Jackline Awino Munene).

The cortege will leave Sega Mission Funeral Home on 5th August, 2022 and burial on 6th August, 2022 at Masiro Nyang’ungu, Ugenya Sub-county, Siaya.
