Mama Dorcas Ombelu Oluoch

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Dorcas Ombelu Oluoch, which occurred on Sunday 8th May 2022.

She was wife to the late Joash Oluotch Onyango and co-wife to Mama Herinah Obunga Oluotch of Asembo Kokise, Rarieda Constituency. She was mother to Ken Oluoch (Formerly of Nation Media Group & Postal Corporation), Rosemary Obilo, Gordon Oluoch (Former Sports Commissioner), Peter Oluotch of Humber Community Advice Services (UK), Edward Oluoch, Grace Oluoch, Dr.Tom Oluoch US – CDC (Rwanda), George Oluoch, the late Peter Oluoch, Loice Nelson (USA), Judith Oluoch, Millicent Oluoch, Daniel and Bill-Clinton.

Mother-in-law to Margaret Oluoch, Nelly Muluka-Oluoch (KFCB), Priscah Ombima Oluotch (UK), Dr. Jennifer Ober Oluoch (Rwanda), Milly Oluoch, David Ajuoga, Charles Nelson, oshua Kimko, Dan Omollo and Tom Odingo. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The Body is at Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary – Kisumu. There will be a church service at St. Luke’s ACK – Manyatta, Kisumu on Friday, 20th May 2022 from 10:00am. The burial will take place on Saturday, 21st May 2022 at her home in Asembo Kokise, Ndara (Bwaja) village.
