It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mama Eunice Kerubo Makori.

Daughter of the late Nyaata Obwoge and late Moraa Ochenge. Beloved wife of the late Mzee Johnson Makori Nyang’ute Nyasaae. Mother of MilkahTong’i, Drusilla Kwamboka, Mary Moturi, Samwel K. Makori (SRC), Jane Magutu, Samson Gitamo (Principal Bong’onta Secondary School) and Joshua Elijah Makori (USA).Sister of Miruka, Obwoge, Morang’a and the late Marthas and others. Mother-in-law of Teresa Barongo (Afraha High School), Gladys Gitamo (Kisii Library), Norah Zlijah (USA),James Moturi (Police HQs), Magutu and the late Justin Tong’i. Grandmother of Job, the Calebs, Nyambane, Lydia, Jack, Stella, Fred, Edwin, Dennis, Purity, Teresa, Nyairo, Edna, Winnie, Maranga, Gilbert, Duke,Tom, Jonah, Rachel, Benjamin, Justin, Nyanduko, Moraa, Anna, Mercy, Moses, Amos, Geoffrey, the Ogechis and many others.

Great Grandmother of many. Sister-in-law of Jane Maranga, Alice Nyaata, the Gitamos, Nyairos, Marangas, Orukes, Mogakas, Nyang’eras, King’oinas among others. Aunt of Pastor Samson King’oina, Samuel, Kennedy, the Gitamos, the Omwoyos, the Mogakas, Richard, Nyang’utes, the Magatis, the Nyambanes, the Marangas, the Ororas, King’oinas, Nyairos, Orukes, Marangas, Nyang’eras, among others. Korera of Zephaniah Mokaya, the late Marendi, Siocha, Omani, Omare and Mironga Moibi.

Funeral arrangements are going on at her home Kiamokama and Nakuru. Harambees to offset medical and funeral expenses will be held on Thursday 27th February 2020 at her home Kiamokama and Nakuru old Town Hall as from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Sunday March 1st 2020, and burial will take place on Monday March 2nd 2020 at her home Kiamokama Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
