We regret to announce the promotion to God’s glory of Faustina Nyakerario Ongeri of Riamokogoti village, Nyansiongo settlement scheme, Nyamira County, who went to be with the Lord on 6th September 2020, while undergoing treatment in Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Morangi Obare and Annastancia Kemunto Morangi of Gesoni Village, Kisii County. Sister of Nyamaera Mobagi (Nyagancha), the late Zebbedeo Nyambegera Morangi (Gesoni), the late Mochoge Morangi (Nyamakoroto), the late Elizabeth Alonsio (Rigoma), Obonyo Ngare (Rikenye), Maria Ongiri (Magombo), the late Ondieki Morangi, the late Simba Morangl, the late Osoro Morangi, the late Asango Morangi (All of Gesoni). She was wife of the late Ongeri Mweya Onsare (Gekano Mission). Co-Wife of the late Mona Ongeri and sister-in-law of the late Kerubo Onteri, the late Moraa Ongoi and the late Kemunto Nyangau.

Aunt of the late Mochama Onteri, the late Peter Simba, the late Priscica Kiriago (Nyamakoroto), Bonface Kombo (Kimilill), Mosota Nyangau (Karantini), Erasto Moseti (Nairobi), the late David Ongol, John Omenge, Omosa Simba, Innocent Nyakundi (Gesoni), Agnes Nyakiba (Nairobi), Evans Ngare, Bosire Allonsio, and Yobensia Mose among others.

Burial arrangements are going on at Professor Ongeri’s residence in Ongata Rongal, Acacia- Merisho Road and at her Kisii home In Riamokogoti Village, Nyansiongo Borabu, Nyamira.

She will be laid to rest on Friday, 25th September, 2020.
