Mama Grace Omari Barasa

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Grace Omari Barasa which occurred on 5th October, 2020 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

She was a daughter to the late Albert Omurende Eshitswaya and the late Tabitha Anyangu of Emulunya village, Khwisero Sub-County, Kakamega County. Wife to the late Paul Barasa Wekondi and loving mother to Wycliffe, the late Dorcas, Ruth, Rose, Shadrack, Martin, Rydon, William, Francis and Meble. Step-mother to Barbra, Boyi and Levi. Mother in law to Isaiah, Mukara, Makokha, Omwando, Jane, Natecho, Jackline, Julie, Nambengere, Evelyn and Lillian. Grandmother to Elvis, Haron, Faith, Riziki, Gerry, Sharon, Gentrix, Fred, Sammy, Brenda, Pauline, Bavon, Daisy, Eugine, Nafuu, Noah, Ryan, Prince, Moraa, Precious and many others. Sister to the late Lutia, the late Shem, Dainah, the late Kochwa, Fridah, Joshua, Tabitha, John, Rosebella, Walter, the late Joseph and Mary. Daughter in law to the late Samson Wekondi and the late Sellina Mauka. Co-wife to the late Elizabeth Indesia, Mary, the late Namalele, Jackline, and sister in law to the late Karakacha, Lyaka, the late Pande, the late Dina, Peter and Prof Stanley Waudo. She was auntie to Peter Nabiswa and Albert, among others.

The body of mama leaves KNH Mortuary for funeral service at FIC, ngong road and she will be laid to rest on 17th October, 2020 at her home in Kakamega County, Namundera village.
