We regret to announce the death of Mama Jenipha Luta Sikuku which occurred on Tuesday 09/07/2019.

Wife of the late Mzee Peter Sikuku Ochilo of Anyiko Tatro, Gem Yala. Daughter of the late Mzee Mulunga and the late Sarah Mulunga. Mother of the late Ochilo, the late Sirikwa, the late Millecent Sino, the late Ougo, the late Awour, Margaret Amolo, Richard Sikuku (formerly of AAK), Mary Miyai, Wilfred Okong’o Sikuku and Melisa Odhiambo. Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Ochilo Ougo and the late Mama Muteu Ochilo. Sister-in-law of the late Mzee Meso, the late Atanda, the late Ougo, the late Odera Maende, the late Ong’er, William Odera and George Alila, among others. Co-wife of Mama Anna Auma. Step-mother of Juma, Onyango, Mary Atieno and Awino among others. Mother-in-law of Amolo, Ogada, late Miyai, Odhiambo, Caroline Sikuku (The Presidency) and Evelyne Okong’o.

There will be a harambee on Tuesday 16th July, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00 pm to assist in the funeral expenses.

Daily meetings take place at her home in Anyiko Tatro, Gem Yala.

The cortege leaves Masaba Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu on Friday 19th July for an overnight stay at her home and burial will be on Saturday 20th July, 2019.
