It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our loving mum Mama Joice Awuor Ooko which occurred on 08/ 01/2013 at lnuka Hospital, wife of retired Pastor Joash Ooko of Gem Ndere.

Loving mother of Kevin Ooko (Maliera Pri Sch), Beatrice Atieno (Willow Tree Roots), Hesbon Ooko (Palladium), Rose Achieng (Mariakani Shop), Denis Juma (KCB), Eng. Wida Richard (KPLC), Dr. Epher Omondi (MoH Busia County) and Gladys Atieno (Masogo Disp). Mother-in-law of Magdalene (ChildFund), Rosemary (Plan Int.), Joan (PATH), Betty (Migori County), Tom, the late Lillian, late Moses and the late Patrick. Grandmother of Sheila, Richard, Omosh, Lenny, Maureen, Beryl, Lily, Billy, Lyle, Vincent, Cedric, Mama Joice Awuor Abriel, CJ, TJ, Wiener, Inga, Bridal, Georgie and Ooko (Mama Pastor) Patrick Jnr. Great grandmother of Alex.

The cortege leaves lnuka Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 18th January at 2 pm. The burial will be held on Friday January 19th 2018 at Mutumbu, Gem.
