With acceptance of God’s will, we regret to announce the death of Mama Josephine Mwanza Omoto.

Wife of the late Mwalimu Remigio Omoto Musiani of Emakwara; daughter of the late Opiyo Dawa and the late Mama Sabina Odula of Nyapwaka. Sister of the late Ezekiel Omondi and the late Hezron Opande. Mother of the late Bertha Kweyu, late Jacinta Obiero, late Sylvester Ogolla, late Priscilla Owino, Prisca Achieng of Kayole hospital, Electine Akoth, Dr. George Omoto of KALRO, Mary Samba and Immaculate Atsieno of KEWU. Co-wife of Cathrina Muga and step mother of Praxides, Sebastian, Chris, Consolata, Elizabeth and Eveline.

Mother in-law of Mary Ogolla, Eveline Omoto (WW1), late John Kweyu, Dr Samuel Obiero (UoN), late Denis Owino, Thomas Mudigo, Leonard Mbembe and Josephat Ogolla. Doting Grandmother of 43 grand children, including Janerose, Eugene, Tony, Trixy, Brenda, Inganga, Sydney, Vital’s, Diana, Winnie, Mediatrix among others. She has left I 7 great grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Kakamega Referral Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 13/0912018 for Requiem Holy mass at Buhuyi Catholic Church at 2.00pm.

Burial will be held on Saturday 15th of September 2018 at her home in Emakwara Village, Elukongo sub-location, Butula Sub-County, Busia County.
