Appreciation

We, the family of the Late Joyce Ajema Madegwa, of Lirhanda Village, Kakamega County express our deepest appreciation for everyone’s sympathy & empathy following her demise. The memories you shared during your visits and at the funeral, along with the many phone calls, texts, flowers, cards and words of condolence meant a great deal to us all.

We especially want to thank our many friends and families, in Kenya and the U.S.A., for their generous financial contributions and support in giving a befitting final journey for Mama. A big thank you to Agape Church, Defenders Coalition (NCHRDK)and the wider Civil Society in Kenya, Sundoves, Moi University Law class of 2009, Ascentria Insurance Brokers, Back & Forth Lawyers, FIFA Team Lawyers, Hood Shop Family, Maseno Old Boys Association, Wababa Group, Austin Texas Family, Birmingham Alabama family and everyone who has continued to support us in this journey.

We are indebted to the planning committees in Kakamega and Nairobi. Special thanks goes to Lirhanda Village and Monthly Meeting that organised the committee to run the funeral service and also thank the Lirhanda quarterly meeting who ran the program for the burial of mama Joyce under Central Yearly Meeting.

To our Aunties & Uncles, cousins & friends who stepped in to take care of our many guests and family, we are greatful for your continued support and love during this difficult time. Mama Joyce A. Madegwa will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May God rest her soul in eternal peace.
