We regret to announce the demise of Mama Joyce Atieno Owaga on the 5th of August 2019.

Daughter of the late Paul Malala and the late Perez Akuku. Beloved wife of the late Henry Owaga Oswago and co-wife of the late Pamela Atieno Owaga. Mother of the late Esther, the late Mary, Kennedy, Jane, Joseph, Agnes, Judith, Margaret, George, Churchill, Steve, Beatrice, Liz and Caro. Sister of Silvance, Caren, the late Tobias, the late Helida and John. Mother -in-law of Leila, Evelyne, Rose, Mercy, Dr Ong’ech, Dr Abeid, Owande and Oduge.

In-law of Michael, the late Ernest, the late Michael, the late Alphonse, Tom, the late Martina, the late Elizabeth, Christine, Caro, Anna, Aunt of Mbuya, Lorraine, Philip, Eddy, Daisy, Cyril, Don, Mike, Lenny, Caro, Kevin, Amos, Joseph, Becky, Winnie, Mercy, Dube and Mickey. Grandmother of the late Erick, Beryl, Benard, the late Cindy, Glen, Tiffanny, Tendai, Trevour, Tarah, Taraji, Joseph, George, Henry, Victoria, Cindy, Brandon, Brent, Stephany, Jayden, Ella, Elly, Aviel, Anaya, Jordel, Jerry, Zippy and Andy.

The cortege leaves Agha Khan Hospital Mortuary on Friday 16th August, 2019 at 2.00 pm.

The service and burial will be conducted at her home in Tura village, Kisumu County, 1 km from Ahero Town on Saturday 17th August, 2019 from 9.00am.

Mama, you fought a good fight and finished your race with grace. Rest well, till we meet again.
