It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Judith Karimi Kaburia on 26th January 2020.

Daughter of the late M’murithi Kmuga and late Stella Ithiru. Loving wife to the late John Mpiuki Kaburia. Daughter in law to the late Zacharia Muthara,late Mukwairu and Kanyua. Mother of Michael Miriti and Caroline (Coptic Hospital), Lay reader Anne Muthoni of ACK Gichure Church and Muruja, Peter Mugambi Kaburia formerly of Oil Libya Ltd and Flomena (formerly KMC), Henry Gitonga formerly of Ngeru Sec School and Rosalid, Andrew Kaburia of G North & Son Ltd and Rose (Premier Academy), James Kaburia of Aga Khan Hospital and Caroline (Serena Hotels), Nancy Kagendo, Eng Joseph Kaburia of KeNHA- Central and Roline (UON). Guardian to Lilian Kairuthi of Jhpiego Kenya and Maj. Rrtd Jackson Macharia. Sister of the late Miriti, Mukwanjiru, Kinyamu, Kiruja, the late Jiamuuro, Murungi & Nyaga. Sister-in-law to late Felicity, Lazarus, Jerusha and Peris. Step sister-in-law to Karimi, Wanja, Kawira, Kathambi and Mugo. Grandmother to Mugendi, Murangiri, Kananu, Mwiti. Karani, Kaimuri, Njogu. Mutuma, among others. Great-grandmother and aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Nkangani village, Ganga Location, Tharaka Nithi County. Nairobi meetings are taking place at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Thika Road on Friday 31st January 2020 at 7.00 am for funeral service at PCEA Nkangani Church. Thereafter she will be interred at her home.
