It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory as we celebrate the incredible life of our matriarch, Marna Kristina Jaoko Opondo who passed away on the 25th of August, 2022 after a long illness bravely borne.
Daughter to the late Michael Okola Yewa (Skoch) and Jane Nyapuny- Liganua, Siaya. Wife to the late Edward Opondo Ondhawo — Kaugagi, Hawinga,Alego. Awesome mother and mother-in-law to Caleb & Betty, Jennifer, Simon & Alice, Moses & Maria,Achieng & Keith,Anyango, Stephen & Irene, Judith & David, Mary & Ayub, Michael & Neurine, Mathew & Wambui, Apondi & Jack, George & Louise, John & Michiko, Lucy & Victor.
Sister to the late Jennifer Onyalo, Caleb Owino, Alice Onyalo.
Grandmother to Lillian, Stephen, Irene, the late Eddy, Fred,Victor, Jennifer & Edward Opondo, Sam & Meg Rhoney, Edward & Christine Opondo, Aki & Jaoko Nyambok, Jay, Edward, Zoe, & Jacob Opondo, Willard & Christine Grigsby, Josephine, Juliet & Jonathan Otieno, Omondi, Beatrice & Alice Opondo, Laurel, Hazel & Shaka Okoth, Keita, Hiroto, Manami & Kanta Opondo.

A service will be held at The All Saints Cathedral on 9th September 2022 at 2pm.
The cortege leaves Nairobi 11 September 2022 for burial at Mama’s home in Mariwa, Awendo, Migori County, 12th September 2022.

Auntie Kristina Aoko Opndo was a loving and caring mother to all her loving children as well as other family members.
