Mama Linet Omumbo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of mama Linet Omumbo on Friday 9th November 2018.

Wife of the late Benard Omumbo of Thurdibuoro Nyakach. Daughter of the late Elseba and Zedekiah Ogonji of Kanyibuop, Gem Sirodha. Mother of Dr. Lucy and Dr. Fred Otieno, Dr. Judy and David Gottlieb, the late James and Eva, Laura Omumbo, Joseph and Beatrice Ogonji. Sister of the late Gilbert and Jewel Ogonji, Fredrick and Margret Otieno, late Francis and Grace Ouma, Alice and Patrick Ogot, Matthew and the late Linda Oluoch, Macrine and the late Eng. Owiti, Judith and the late Dr. E. Wazome, Prof. Florence and the late H Oyieke, Dorothy and John Shihemi, Jane and Joshua Oyieko also sister to Judy Kawadotham. In-law to the late Christopher, late Phillip, the late Nelson, late William, the late John, the late Sarah, the late Getrudah, the late Samson, Esther, the late Susana, Jacob, Samwel and Mary. Grandmother of Vanessa, Jesse, Nicole, Kito, Nia, Sophie, Lisa, Gathoni, Declan, Luca, Lily and Dahlia.

There will be a fund raising on Tuesday 20th November at All Saints Cathedral at 5:30pm.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday 22nd November at All Saints Cathedral at 10:00am.

She will be laid to rest at her home in Nyabondo Kadiang’a Nyakach on Saturday 24th November 2018.
