It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Lucia Nyakhanga Watete which occurred on November 29, 2018, while undergoing treatment at War Memorial Hospital, Nakuru.

Wife of the late Baba Gabriel Watete Luttah. Beloved mother of Patricia Chituyi (Etatira Pri. Sch), Dr. Patrick Watete (LTI, Wajir), Pamela, the late Ignatius, Rose, Colleta (Loreto Nakuru) and Magdaline (Eshinamwenyuli Primary School). Sister of John Omondi, Margaret Achola and Consolata Wanyando. Sister-in-law of John Lutta, Simeon Wandanda, and others. Mother-in-law of Mary Wekondi, Josephat Muchiri, Francis Orembe and the late Andrea Muleshe.

Beloved grandmother of Franklin, Everline, Nicole, Mercy, Xavier, Eddie, Plana, Billy, Bernadette, Concepta, Titi, Junior, Mark, Sally, Josephine, Perry, Ursula, Gabriel, Stephanie, Ibrahim, Vera, Dama and Fernado. Great-grandmother of Angie and Sherleen, Gabriel and Audrey, Mummie and Nyanjugu, Gabriella, Henricah, Blaise, and Chrispinus.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday 6th December 2018 at 7.30am for Holy Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church, Lanet at 9.00am.

The cortege will then leave for Nyakhanga Watete mureko village at 11.00am for Mass at Mutoma Catholic Parish 4.00pm on the same day.

Burial will take place on Saturday 8th December 2018 at Emureko Village, Butere.
