We regret to announce the demise of Mama Lucia Onundo Rachier, which occurred on 26th November, 2020, at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret.

Daughter of Lawrence Kola and Catherine Nandi. Wife of the late Martin Rachier Oyuko of Wang’aya I Sub-location, Awasi village. Co-wife of the late Wilkister Rachier, Eunice Juma and Regina Rachier. Mother of Rose, Rita, Antonina, Cecilia, Peter, the late Paul, the late Pamela, Bernadette, Michael, Carolyne, Jacinta and Lillian. Step-mother of Joseph, Juliana, Regina, Beatrice, Patricia, Gerald, Dorothy, Edward, Nancy, Lydia. Sister of Okuku Joram, Ongili Kola, Kungu, Nyumba Oginga Gembo Nam & Buxton Nam, among others.

Mother-in-law of the late Zablon Oballa, Richard Juma, Mark Okeyo, the late Frank Oduor, D. Were, Stanley Mwangi, J. odotte, M. Sule, Joyce, Emily, Pamela, Rose and Jacinta. Other in-laws are Jason Okiri, Aloice Mbeche, Kiyigo Oyuko, Angelina, Wilfrida among others. Grandmother of Otieno, Irene, Omondi, Okoth, the late Chief, Ruby, Ivy, Alan, Belinda, Manu, Becky, Chief, Ceasar, Evans, the late Lyne, Mariam, Faizul, Dennis, Lisa, Cindy, Martin, Nelson, Lucia, Jason, Michael jnr, Jonathan Owako, Tamika, Nicole, Martin, Jason, Shawn and Wambui.

The burial will take place Friday 11th December, 2020 in Wang’aya I Sub-location, Awasi. The cortege leaves Star Mortuary, Kisumu, on Thursday 10th December 2020 at 12noon.
