It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Maureen Atieno Aol of East Seme, Kolunje Magwar. Known to many as Nyapaul/Nyosiri/Nyamwalimu/Dota.

Daughter of the late Mwalimu Paul Odallo and the late Margaret Odallo. Step-daughter of the late Miriam Odallo and Mariam Odallo of Kisumo Osiri.

Wife of James Okelo Aol. Mother of Victor Ochieng’, Kevin Odhiambo, Donald Okong’o, Byron Omondi and the late Elizabeth Bephine Akinyi. Sister of Eng. Jacob Odallo, Steven Ogaga, the late Tom and Hellen. Step-sister of Ruth, Alice, Jakey, Carren, the late Samuel, Jairus, late Susan, Elizabeth, the late Ambrose, and Jakobo Otieno.

Daughter-in-law of Joshua Aol and Teresa Aol. Sister-in-law of the late Ben Odero, Francis, Abigael, Peter, June, Charity, Christine, Elizabeth, Sophie, Walter, Samba, Onyango, Adhiambo and Achieng’. Mother-in-law of Joyce Akinyi and Roselyne Akinyi. A grandmother of Ella. Nyawana of James Minao, Paul Obware, Monica Obware and Risper Obware. Aunt to Caroline, Geoffrey, Mike, Rita, Allan, Brian, Paul, Judy, William, Faith, Vallery, Queenter.

The body is being preserved at Star Hospital Mortuary Annex, Ogango. The cortege will leave Star Hospital Mortuary, Ogango on Saturday 22nd May, 2021 and burial on the same at her home in Magwar, East Seme, Kisumu County.
