Mama Miriam Nona Mwafusi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mama Miriam Nona Mwafusi which occurred on 25th April 2021 at St Joseph Shelter of Hope Hospital in Voi, Taita Taveta County.

She was the first-born child of the Late Samson Mwafusi Ninah and the Late Ginora Zighe Mwafusi of Mrangi Village, Ngolia Ward, Voi Sub-county. Sister to the Late Harrison Mwabili, Sophie & the Late Harold Mwatati, Elizabeth & Noel Mwashuma, Late Priscilla & Paul Mwangima, Jerusha & Cromwell Mwamburi, Duncan Ninah & Eva Saru, Celestine Ng’ondi & Evans Asena.

Mother to Pastor Michael Myles Amiani & Evelyne Sarah Chao, Bertha Vihenda & Ramadhan Munga, Kenn Kivissi (KPRL Mombasa) & Anne Waithaka, Nelly Zighe & Phillip Sempele, Pastor Mercy Amulele and Oscar Mwafusi. She is survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves St Joseph Shelter of Hope Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 at 4PM for her home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 5th May 2021 at ACK St Philips Church, Mwatunge starting at 10AM and the burial at her home in Kizima Village, Mwatunge, Mwatate Sub-county, Taita Taveta County.
