We regret to announce the death of Mama Monica Orime Odus on October 14th, 2017.

She was the daughter of the Late Jairus Angaka and Anna Nyarege. Beloved wife to the late Mzee Robert Odus Ohayo and Co-Wife of the late Penina Ajwang’. Sister of the late Gilbert Oruoch, the late George Osoo Angaka, the late Janet Itindi, the late Nereah Okare Ayore, Grace Ogot, Clarice, Hellen, among others. Sister-in-law of the late Killion Opiacha, the late Samwel Ochillo, the late Cllr. Gordon Ohayo, the late Yuka Obwanga among others.

Mother of Jane Ouma Otieno, Martin Oduson, late Moses Odhiambo, Grace Akinyi Odhiambo, late Betty Mboga, Joram Midaye, John Wigwa, Barrack Owino and the late Penina Atieno, the late Pamella Okone, Plistar Ohanga, the late William Nyandago, the late Washington Ayomo, and the late James Auma. Mother-in-law of late Jared Wademu, Tresa Oduson, Christine Oduson, Tom Odhiambo, late Dickson Mboga, late Eunice Odhiambo, late Rose Odhiambo, Syvil Midaye, Elizabeth Wigwa,Terry Owino, Josephine Nyandago, late Rose Ayomo, and Risper Auma, among others.

There will be a harambee on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at All Saints Cathedral from 5:00 p.m. The cortege leaves Matangwe Funeral Home, Bondo on Friday, November 17th, 2017 for burial at her home in Majimbo, Got Agulu, West Yimbo on Saturday November 18th 2017.

Nyagoye, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith and a crown is in waiting.
