It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mama Naumi Odira Sekoh on the 27th December, 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital, HDU.

Daughter of the Late Daniel Akal and the late Mama Grace Anyango. She hailed from Okenge Village Migori County.

Loving wife of the Late George Benedict Nyadiero Sekoh of Suna West, Marindi Village Migori County. Mother of Jacinta Sekoh and Robert Ochieng, Nixon Sekoh and Winnie Gachiriga, Wycliffe Otieno Sekoh and Sherry Sekoh, Diana Sekoh and Harry Kerr, Masel Sekoh, Alvin Sekoh and Winnie Arunda. Grandmother of Ashley Ochieng,Audrey Naomi Ochieng, John Robert Ochieng jr, Hope Sekoh, Naomi Sekoh, Jonathan Sekoh, George Sekoh, Jeff Sekoh, Harar Kerr, Chelsea Sekoh, Paul Sekoh, Ryan Sekoh, Jayden Sekoh and Jasmine Sekoh. She is survived by her siblings Joshua Akal and Agnes Akal, Margaret Ongalo and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are meeting at Norwich Union Towers – Nairobi on Monday 6th, Jan 2020 from 5-8 pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

There will be a funds drive to offset hospital bills on 7th January, 2020 at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30 pm and a Requiem Mass at Consolata Shrine on 8th January, 2020 at 10am. On Thursday, 9th January, 2020, the cortege leaves for Migori at 6 am and burial is slated for 10th January, 2020 from 10am at her home in Suna West, Marindi Village.
