Mama Pauline Nyamatana

We regret to announce the passing on of Mama Pauline Nyamatana Nyang’ong’o Kimang’a of Migosi village Birongo Kisii County after a long cancer illness, bravely borne.

Wife to the late Kimang’a Gechino. She was co-wife to the late Banchiri Misati Kimang’a. Mother to the late Dinah Makori, the late Teresia, the late Sambu, Nyakundi, Mary, Yucabeth, Pamela, Tom and step-mother to Mayani, Ogoti, Maticha, John Controller among others. She was the first born child to the late Nyangoto Ogeturengia and the late Mama Kerubo Kararia Nyangoto. Sister to the late James Mogaka, Mama Nyaboke Ombongi, Karen Masese, the late Cesare Boto, Jeniffer Osebe, Kwamboka Ondieki, Onchari, Metobo, Nyang’ong’o Kimang’a Orora Nyangoto among others. Cousin to the Atikas, the Mondas, the Mabeyas, the Ochokis among others. Mother-in-law to the late Makori among others. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

She will be laid to rest on Monday 8th February, 2021 at her home Migosi, kona ya Gechino Birongo.
