Mama Peletina Akhanyinya Washiali

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Peletina Akhanyinya Washiali.

Daughter of the late Lubanga and the late Otari of Emutondo village, Shitari Location. Wife of the late William Washiali and Co-wife of the late Dorina Sangula Washiali. Loving mother of Dorcas, Risper, Jennifer, Henry, Moses, the late Grace, Hon. Benjamin Jomo Washiali (MP Mumias East and Majority Whip- Kenya National Assembly), Agnes, Lynette, Late Jared, Wycliffe, Ruth, Susan and Elizabeth. Mother-in-law of Joyce, Beatrice, Roselyne, Alice, the late Jane, Dolphine, the Hate Ouya, Ombito, Muse, Maina, Ong’ong’a, Kalerwa, Sumba, Osundwa and Beru. Loving Aunt of Obwamu and others. Dotting granny of 73grandchildren.

The cortege left St Mary’s Mumias Hospital Mortuary on Thursday the 14th February, 2019 for a Requiem Service at Shitoto ACK that began at 12 Noon.

Mama will be laid to rest on Saturday the 16th February, 2019 at her Shitoto residence, Shianda Location, Mumias East Constituency in Kakamega County.
