It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our Matriach, Mama Perita Nelima Tabu, while undergoing treatment at the MTRH Eldoret.

The third born daughter of the late Mercelina Naliaka and Kwelokha Otido Wambongo, wife of the Late Jackson Tabu Wabomba. Loving mother of the Late Prof. Isaiah Masinde Tabu, Dr Simiyu Tabu (Moi University/MTRH), Wafula Tabu (Dept. of Immigration), Alfred Busolo Tabu Former Director General (AFA), Collins Tabu (Head, Immunisation — MoH HQ), Mary Wafula (Cherangany), Neddy Kimungui (Bungoma), Margaret Tabu (Principal Museno Secondary School), Sarah Tabu (Headmistress Ngalasya Bungoma), Violet Tabu (Kivaywa Primary).

Stepmother of Philip, Tom Wabomba (CBK), Mark Karani (MoH, Vihiga), Wanundu, Khatoro, Bramwel, Fridah Nangila (Mabanga FTC) and Rose Khatoro (Eldoret). Sister of Nafuna, the Late Wawire, Edward Sikura, the Late Mukhula Wechoki, the Late Nyongesa, the Late Efumbi, Nafula Mwanja, Chris Nasokho, Ngalu, Nasimiyu, Kitele, Waswa, Dr. Manyasi, Kokholo, Nakaliwo, Khakasa, Sitokani, Namukuchu, Karani, Namusia,Wekulo among others.

Sister In-law of the Late Wanjala, the Late Wati, the Late Lumbasi, Nasikawa and Lukorito among others. Cousin of Shem Mukoyani among others. Mother In-law of Gladys, Balbina, Metrine, Veronica ,Irene Cheloti and others. She leaves behind 40 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grand Children.

The cortege leaves MTRH Funeral Home on Thursday 19th December 2019 at 11am, for her home in Mahanga village, Chekalini sub location, Lugari sub county, Kakamega County. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 2Ist December 2019 at her home plot 1 Checkalini scheme.
