Mama Phlorah Lizzie Omolo

March 10, 1937 – April 17, 2020

With thanksgiving and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Phlorah Lizzie Omolo on 17th April 2020 after a short illness.

Loving wife of the late Mzee J.D. Omolo. Daughter of the late Luka Shiroya and the late Jane Cheptoo. Sister of the late Willie Shiroya, Rufus Shiroya, the late Margaret Njoroge, Joyce Bakhoya, Jimmy Shiroya, Frida Shiroya and the late Martin Tiema. Mother of Noah Omolo, Joseph Omolo, Allan Odhiambo Omolo, Roy Onyango, Juliet Omanya, George Omondi and David Ounza. Mother-in-law of Gospel Omanya, the late Rose Atieno, Nelly Ayieko Omolo, Beldine Ochieng, Veronica Odhiambo and Maureen Namwaya. She was the grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of three.

Burial will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at her home in Shikunga, Butere, Sub-county, lbokolo Division of Marenyo Location in Shikunga Sub-location.
