Mama Rael Obonyo Ogola Wambita

We regret to announce the death of Mama Rael Obonyo Ogola Wambita which occurred on 15-10-2019 at Ombo Hospital Migori.

Daughter of the late Mzee Isaka Omeme Ondiek and mama Christina Opilu of Minigo Shirati Tanzania. Wife of the late Charles Ogola Wambita. Mother of Solomon Ogolla Wambita of Hataro Press Migori, the late Ruth Awuor Ogola, Anna Ayoo Odoyo, Esta Akinyi Ogola, Enock Ogola Wambita, Teresa Adhiambo Magak, Mary Aoko and Milka Anyango, among others. Other children include Francis, Bishop Philip, the late Andrew, Ken, George Onyango and Timon, among others. Sister of the late Elija Omeme, Anna Achola, Peter Okello, Silpa Onje, Ephraim Jobura and the late Asenath.

Daughters-in-law include Meresa Achieng Ogola, Hellen Aoko, Nancy, Jane, Grace and Millicent. Co-wives include Benedeta, the late Agnes, the late Turphosa, Mama Elizabeth, Rebecca, Flora and Sara Wambita. In-laws of Mwalimu Frederick Lana and the late Mama Rispa Adero, the late Adoyo, and Petronala Akinyi, the late Auko, Mzee Osodo of Kochia and the late Steven Wamndhina among others. Brothers-in-law are Frederick Wambita, John Onditi, Odondi Wambita, Christopher, the late Joseph, the late Philip, the late Musa and the late Francis. She leaves behind 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Ombo Hospital Mortuary Migori on 10/11/2019 at 2.00pm, for burial on 11/11/2019 at her Migori home in Total estate.

Funeral service will conducted by Migori Central SDA Church, next to Girango Hotel grounds.
