Mama Rosalia Anyango Manyalla

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate the life of a matriarch, our beloved and most cherished Mama Rosalia Anyango Manyalla. Mama was promoted to glory on the night of 8th September, 2023 at the Nairobi Hospital ICU.

She was daughter to the late Christiano Mulor and the late Amolo Nyan’go’nga of Masiro Kathieno. Daughter in law to the late Paulo Odundo and the late Catherina Aloo of Ambira Sub Location.

She was beloved wife to the late Joseph Manyalla and co-wife to the late Philister Jaoko Manyalla. Beloved mother to Angella Manyalla (judiciary), Fred Manyalla (ISCS), Martha Manyalla (KNH). Stepmother to Hellen Manyalla, the late Chrispine Manyalla, Frank Manyalla (Maranda Special School and National Chairman SNE sports), George Manyalla, Martin Manyalla, Stephen Manyalla (DCI) Caroline Manyalla.

Mother in law to Joshua Rajwayi, Dr. Herick Ondigo (UON), Pauline Mubinya (CITAM), Faith Nyaura (St. Monica Hospital), Florence Oyolla (DP World) and Emma Ochieng.

Grandmother to Bruce Ogolla, Germaine Jacque, Catherine Muthoni, Joseph Gweth, Rossette Nguono,Terryval Adhiambo, Kezia Ber, Emmanuel Barry, Kathryn Kwe, Leonard, Stephanie, Stephen, Chrispine, Fidel, Joseph, Junior, Amanda, Tessy among others.

There will be a fundraising to defray hospital bill and funeral expenses on Monday, 18th September, 2023 at All Saints Cathedral from 4.00pm and a Funeral Service at Holy Family Basilica on Wednesday 20th September, 2023. Contributions towards this can be channeled to Pay-bill No. 522533 A/C.: 7698346.

There will be a Requiem Mass on Wednesday 20th September 2023 at Holy Family Basilica starting from 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home early morning on Thursday, 21 September 2023 for Kisumu International Airport via JKIA and thereafter to Ugenya Via road. Mama will be laid to rest on Friday, 22nd September, 2023 at Sikala Village, Ambira Sub-Location, Central Ugenya Location, Siaya County.
