Mama Salome Nyanchoka Nyakundi of Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mama Salome Nyanchoka Nyakundi of Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme, Tinderet Village, following a short illness.

Wife of the late Mr. Henry Nyakundi Ooga. Daughter of the late Mr. Nicholas Muma and the late Mama Margaret Kemunto Muma.

Sister to Mzee Paul Orandi, the late Peter Nyakundi Nyabita and the late Mary Kerubo Ongondi.

Daughter-in-law to the late Mzee Joseph Ooga Angwenyi and the late Mama Kemunto Ooga among other mamas.

Sister-in-law to the late Mzee Siro Ooga and Mama Teresa Siro, Mzee Cornelius Onsongo Ooga and Mama Jane Onsongo, Mania Kerubo, among others.

Auntie to former PS Mr. William Mayaka and former PS Alice Mayaka, the late Mzee Sese, the late Mwalimu Ontita, Mr. Richard Onsongo, M/S Jane Sese among others.

Mother to Daniel and Clare Matoke of Nakuru, the Late Philip and Ester Achieng’ Matete, Joseph and Leonida Ndege, Prof. Jerry Magutu and Justine Magutu (both of University of Nairobi), the late M/S Trizah Bitutu Nyakundi, Dr. Anthony Moire and Antonina Moire of KP&LC, Mr Anselm Nyakundi of KPLC and Jacinta Nyakundi, Mr. Stephen Nyakundi of Menyenya High School and Irene Nyakundl, Mr. Fredrick Nyakundi and M/S Roselyn Nyakundi of Hope World Wide.

Cherished grandmother to Judy, Haroldjeanette, Ericjoseph, Henry, Gabriel, Innocent,Amala among others and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and Mass at her home in Tinderet Village.

Burial will be on Tuesday, Sth January 2021 at her home in Nyansiongo Settlement Scheme,Tinderet Village.
