Mama Tewdora Matete Oburu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of  mama Tewdora Matete Oburu.

Wife of the late Mzee Helekiah Oburu Jagero of Rusinga Island. Daughter of the late Naman Mkondo and the late mama Nyamasi Nyounga of Waware Sub location. Mfangano Island. Sister to Bati, Orao, Zacharia and Lucy. Mother of the late Samuel Onyango Oburu, Jactone Opiyo,Adongo,Aoko and Akelo Oburu. Also mother of Solomon Oburu, Joshua, Gilbert, Wajumbe, Peter, Thadeus, Joshua, Bernard, Brian, Daniel, Samuel, Fredrick, Florence, Eunice, Janet, Mary, Hellen, Ruth, Phoebe, Jael, Damaris and Margaret. Mother-in-law of the late Anna Onyango Oburu, Mary Onyango Oburu and the late Mary Opiyo Oburu. Also mother-in-law of Peres, Jane and Jane, Hellen, Claris, Ruth, Carol, Jane, Magdaline, Jacky, Roseline, Prisca ,Terry, and Phillis Grandmother of (Queen) Merylene Onoka, Mary Oimo Oloo, James Onyango, late Peter,Isaac Onyango, Wicklif Onyango, and Cynate Opiyo Oburu amongst others. Great great grandmother of 7.

There will be Funds drive to cover Funeral Arrangements on Tuesday 17th Oct 2017 at Professional Centre Nairobi Beginning 6pm. Burial  will take place on Friday 20th October 2017 at the Late Matete Oburu home Wanyama In Rusinga Island.
