It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Yunes Nyangweso Momanyi of Boochi Borabu, Ichuni Sub-location, Magena Kisii County, which occurred on 31/05/2023.

Beloved wife to the late Mzee Haron Momayi Ogetii of Boochi Bomaregwa Ritembu. Co-wife to the late Askah Bisieri Momanyi of Boochi Bomaregwa Ritembu.

Sister to Onserio Nyambega, Sigara, Pasifika Nyoteyo, Henry Mose, Mary Bonareri, Onduso Nyambega all of Bombaba, Magena Market and Shem Nyarango of Sengera.

Mother to the late Shem Angasa Momanyi, Julius Biyogo Momanyi (USA), Hezron Michieka Momanyi of Ministry of Education (Jogoo Hse – Nairobi), the late Joyce, Norah Bosibori, the late Tom, Ogetii, Sam Matasi (USA), and Nyambega.

Mother-in-law to Esther Ondieki, the late Mary Biyogo, and Maureen Biyogo, Ziporah Michieka, Josephine Ogetii, Evelyne and Sarah Matasi and Milkah Nyambega.

Step-mother to James Nyabere Momanyi (Sibiah Nyabere), Jerusha Nyamoita, the late Josiah Onyangore (Sibiah Onyangore), Jeremiah Otundoh (Rebecca Otundoh), the late John Nyangena (Alice Nyangena), Stephen Biyogo (Jane & Helen Biyogo), Grace Kemuma, Henry Nyabuto (Jeliah Nyabuto) of USA, Nicodemus Oanda Kisii County (Mwango Oanda), George Morara (Judith Morara) of USA, and the late Charles Ogetii Momanyi. Grandmother and Great-grandmother to many both in Kenya and USA.

The body is lying at the Umash Funeral Home. Family and friends are holding daily meetings at her home Magena Ichuni Village, Kitengela Milimani and Chuna, Kajiado County.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home for Kisii on Thursday, 15/6/2023 at 7.00am, Burial will be held on Friday, 16/6/2023 at her home Magena Ichuni Sub location, Ritembu Location, Boochi Borabu Ward, Kisii County
