With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the promotion to glory on Friday 2nd August, 2019 of Mama Yunia Adongo Ayuko of Kagingu Village, Seme Kakelo, Kisumu County.

Wife of the late Mzee Henry Ayuko Adera. Mother of James Ayuko, Kenneth Ayuko, Meshaque Ayuko, Stephen Ayuko, the late Doris Ogutu, Josephine Ayuko, Norah Ayuko, the late Susan Ayuko, and Daniel Ayuko. Mother-in-law of Anna Otieno, Magdalene Wahu, Ruth Achieng’, Jane Syovata, Carolyne Njoga, the late Dr. GPO Ogutu and Naomi Wanjiku. Sister of Esther Anyango Omwony, Diana Adhiambo, Obadiah Asuna, the late Tabitha Oyange Ayuko, the late Naphtal Odeny, the late David Nyakwaka, the late Evans Apunda, the late Allan Osindo, and the late Lilian Atieno. Grandmother of Harty, Michael, Clive, Wendy, Sheila, Hope, Andre’, Serena, Barrack, Michele, Sean, Derrick, Mildred-Daphne, Cindy, Daniel Dida, Rose-Sharon, Stacey, Byron, Daisy, Tabitha, Islie, Nathan, and Samara, among others.

Friends and relatives will meet on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi for a Harambee and to make the final funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Fort Florence Hospital Mortuary on Friday, August 16th, 2019 for a requiem mass at St. James Asol Anglican Church followed by an overnight stay at her home.

Burial will take place on Saturday, August I 7th, 20I 9 from 10:00am.
