Maresella Bochaberi Japheth Mayaka

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Maresella Bochaberi Japheth Mayaka who passed away on Friday 17th July 2020 while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Daughter of the late Silvester Nyamongo and the late Alexina Mwango [Masara]. Wife of Japheth Mayaka. Mother of Duke [South African Airways], Jane [Ekerenyo Sub-County Hospital], Janet, Haron [South African High Commission], Ruth (Jambojet]. Sister of the late Teresa, the late Nyang’ate, the late Mariita, Mellen, Eusalia, Obuba [DHT Bonyunyu BD], Kennedy [DHT Gianchore] and Stella. Daughter in-law of the late Mong’are Obanyi Sani and Elizabeth Nyakangi. Sister in-law of Florence, retired chief Joshua Ocharo, the late Moraa, Nyamora, Osoro, Okero, Raini, Mocheche, Misati and George. Mother in-law of Fridah and Faith. Grandmother of Claudia, Samantha, Marcus, Brenda, Brandon, Bradley, Alvin, Anne, Caleb, Ray, Glen and Gwen. Korera of Mr and Mrs Ondieki, the late Maragia and Neleah.

She will be laid to rest at her home in Nyamwetureko Village, Konate, Nyamira South Sub-County on Friday, 24th July 2020.
