Margaret Njeri Mburu (Mama Kinyanjui)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Margaret Njeri Mburu (Mama Kinyanjui) which occurred on 11th January 2019.

Beloved daughter of the late John Kiiru Waribe and the late Hannah Wambui Kiiru. Beloved wife of the late Hon. Silas Mburu Gichua former Mayor and Member of Parliament for Nakuru North. Sister of the late Samuel Waribe, the late Peter Kinyanjui, Mary Mwihaki, Samson Karani and Rose Wanjiku. Loving and caring mother of the late David Kinyanjui, Perminas Ngugi, Esther Wanjiru McCarthy, Rose Wambui Storry, the late John Kiiru, Mary Mwihaki Hicks, the late Samwel Waribe, Anne Nyokabi Bell and Peter Njoroge. Mother-in-love of the late Nancy Wairimu, Gerry McCarthy, Jeffrey Storry, Chris Hicks, David Bell and Emmanuela Lobina. Grandmother of Joseph, Silas, Margaret, Jessica, Nicholas, Sophia, Rachael, Movra, Sara, Shauna, Westey, Alison, Natalie, Martin and Hadassah. Great grandmother of Ryan, Elizabeth, Tyler and Wairimu.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her Lanet farm Nakuru from 5.00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Funeral Home on Friday 18th January 2019 at 9.00am for the service at Nyonjoro RCEA Church, Lanet. The funeral service commences at 10.00arn and interment shall follow thereafter at her farm in Lanet.
