Margaret Nyambura Murage (OGW)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Madam Margaret Nyambura Murage (OGW), on 26th of April 2021. Formerly Ag. Director of Field and other Services, Ministry of Education (Jogoo House). She was the Director ofThe Marjorie School Kagio.

Beloved wife of James Njagi Murage formerly of Mount Kenya University Thika, among other Institutions of Higher Learning. Loving and caring mother of Rosemary Njeri (RTI International) and Shadrack Kinuthia, Joyce Muthoni (Compassion International) and Gerald Mutinda, Anthony Murage (Marjorie School), Roselyne Muringo (MSF-Doctors Without Borders) and Charles Kirika (Kibutha School, Kangema) and Lucy Akhabaya.

Daughter of the late Matthias Kirika Munjuu and Mary Njeri Kirika. Sister of Muiruri, Muthoni, Nduma, Wambui and Chege. Grandmother of Juliet Nduta, Margaret Nyambura, Kayla Wanjiku, Genevieve Kabura;Adiah Bendwa and Daniel Katothia. Sister-in-law of Muringo and the late Njiiri, Joseph and Loise, Mary and the late Muriithi, the late Karuana and the late Muriuki, the late Jane and the late Mwangi, Mercy, Nancy and Kiama. Auntie of so many.

Prayer and burial arrangements will be on Wednesday 28th April 2021 and Thursday 29th April 2021 at their home starting at 3.30pm.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral home, Kutus on 30th April at 9:00am for Memorial Service on the Marjorie School Kagio grounds at 10.30am. Burial will follow thereafter on the same farm compound.

It is God who gave us Margaret and God has called her home. May his name be praised. Amen!
