Margaret Wanjeri Gikonyo

It is with humble acceptance of the Will of God that we announce the passing on of Margaret Wanjeri (Wamucii) Gikonyo which occurred on 11th August 2019 at North Kinangop Catholic Hospital.

Wife of the late George Muriithi Gikonyo: daughter of the late Joel Mathenge and the late Joan Thiga. Mother of Agatha and Daniel Kimani, Fr. Gabriel Muriithi Gikonyo, Lucy Gikonyo, Patricia Gikonyo, Thomas and Grace Mathenge, Stephen and Nancy Kimaru. Daughter-in-law of the late Muriithi Mekonyo and the late Lucy Wanjugu. Sister of the late Wambura, Andrew -4,, Munene,the late Mumbi, the late Munyiri, the late Nyamu, Ephantus Murage, Priscilla Wanjiku Karitu, William Kambo, Jane Njoki Wanyama and Lanson Gakuo. Sister in Law of the late Mary Wairimu Gathungu, Peter Kimaru, Jeff Kiruki, Jane Wangu, Flora Gathoni, and Antony Githae.

Family and friends are meeting at Cardinal Otunga Plaza in Nairobi and her home in Kinangop.

The funeral will take place on Monday 19th August at her home in Kiandege, Ndunyu Njeru, North Kinangop at 10am.
