Mariam Cheptoo Engoke

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing-on to glory of our beloved Mariam Cheptoo Engoke after a short illness.

Beloved wife to Frank A. Engoke formally of KPLC, and co-wife to Florence Mutinda Engoke. Daughter of Mzee Kiprono Ng’otwa and Mama Sofia Ng’otwa of Tugen Estate Moiben Uasin Gishu County. Daughter in law to the late Mzee Benson Musiega and Mama Esnas K. Engoke of Goibei-Vihiga. Loving mother to Ramello Musiega, Sherrezz Khamaya, Reinhard Liluma, Sandra Khavere, Ryan Engoke and Stacy Vugutsa (Pendo). Sister to H.E. Sarah Tunai (First lady of Narok County), the late Habib Rono, Barak Rono, Norah Chepkemoi Ng’otwa (Australia), Amida Ng’otwa, Aziza Ng’otwa and Mohamoud Rono.

Step sister to Late Joyce, Annah, Nancy, Leonard and Richard of Silibwet -Bomet county. Loving sister-in-law to H.E. Samuel Ole Tunai (Governor of Narok county), Margaret, Lilian, Jane, Alfred, Canon, Levy, Sammy, Emmah,Anitah, Stella Birgen and the lates Florence, Peter and Wallace. Grand daughter and niece to the Ngotwa’s of Bomet County and the Tomno’s of Eldama Ravine- Baringo county. Aunt to the Tunai’s and many others.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home Nairobi on Friday 02/04/2021 for burial on Saturday 03/04/2021 at Goibei-Mugavagavo Village, Gasianga Sub-Location, Banja Location, Vihiga County.

May her soul rest in eternal peace. God gives and God takes.
