It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Mother Mrs Maritha Mwendwa Mbui (Kaka) Mbui of Kithiu Village, Mwiteria Sublocation Meru Municipality Location of Meru County on 2/11/17.

Wife of the late M’Mbui M’Rinturi. Mother of Stanley Koome Rinturi formerly of Telkom Kenya, David Murithi, Reuben Gitonga and Silas Rimiri. Step mother of Tabitha, the late Mbithe, Stephen, Gitonga and Mwenda. Mother in law of Janet Koome (USA), Sussy Gitonga (Mwiteria Pry Sch.). Sister of Karuguru and Kang’eru. Grandmother of Catherine, Kimathi (U.S.A), Dan (Nairobi), Kananu (Nairobi), Maureen (U.S.A), Muriuki Gitonga (AP- Runogone (Meru), Mutethia (Meru)and great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Kithiu Village for burial preparations from 5pm daily. The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Thursday 9/11/2017 at 9.00am for funeral service at M.C.K Gakoromone and thereafter burial at her home Kithiu Mbui (Koko) Mwiteria Meru County.
