Mark Nyongesa Udoto

lt is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Mark Nyongesa Udoto after a long brave battle with prostate cancer. He hailed from Musaga Village, Navakholo Division, Kakamega County. He was a prominent politician and a Luhya Elder.

Beloved husband of the late Susan Nasike Udoto and the late Jane Ayeta Udoto. Loving father of Gilbert Udoto (USA), Jonce, Philip  Violet Mary, Phanice Judith, Lilian, the late Dorothy, Christine,the late Abigael and Gladys. Son of the late Paul Udoto and the late Robai Misenya. He was brother of the late Ellam Udoto, the late Christopher, Neddy, Ben, Roselyne, and Dr. Makokha (USA). Son-in- law of the late Jeremiah Walusala and the late Rebecca Nekunda, the late Japheth Angiyo and the late Abigael Ndanyi. Brother-in- law of the Rakama’s ,Washington, Johnson, Bande (USA), Japheth, Betna, the late Linet, Neddy, and Stanley; the Angiyo’s the late Diana, Daniel, Harrison, the late Readon among others. Father-in-law of Margaret, the late Gwimba, the late Mulekano, Dr. Shililu (Ethiopia), the late Okoth, the late Esther, Mary, the late Humphrey, Mandela the late Arthur, Geoffrey and Albert Grandfather of Oscar, Paul, Melvin Linda,Brian & Asena (Australia), Renin, Nixon, Shaka, Lynne, Nelson, Rasoa, Anointed and others. Uncle of Prof. Waudo (Vice Chancellor MKU), Dr. Ongalo Udoto (Dean Egerton University), Beatrice Nanga, Vance Udoto, Hilda,Tim, Oscar, Dotty among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Musaga village for funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Kipkaren Funeral Home On 19th October 2017 and burial will take place on 21st October 2017 at his home.
