Mrs Muchori Thank-you for touching our lives in a mighty way until the 13. of June, when God from his mighty throne, sent his best angel saying go angel, go down and bring Martha, for she has laboured long in my vineyard…and has completed my assignment. And so on that day You turned, and saw what no one else could see,.. you saw Jesus…arms open to receive you.And the angel smiled at you, and smoothend the furrows on your face, and ushered you to a special place,on the bossom of Christ. Rest in peace mama in the hands of the one who loved you most….until we meet again.

Aunt Martha was my father’s baby sister and one of the two left of his siblings . In the early 80’s Aunt Martha came to South Bend and spent a summer with her family. I’ll never forget how heart-broken my children and I were when Aunt Martha, Edward, John and Eva went back to Kenya. Having them around gave me a true meaning of family. She went to the park for swimming with me and my children and she visited my church. We had such a good time that summer. She made it a point to spend good quality time with her family and I will forever love her for it. Aunt Martha you will be greatly missed. Thank you for the love you’ve shown us all.

Wow. I’m so sorry to hear of Mrs. Muchori’s passing but am comforted to know that she is resting with our Lord. I was a teacher at AUPI in 1994 and continue to be inspired by her vision and efforts to impact the lives of so many by providing opportunities for education and language training. May your soul rest in perfect peace until we meet again.

Wow I have been looking for Mrs Muchori for so many years since I left Kenya and today I tried once more and saw this sad news. I wish she remembered how much she meant to me when I was at AUPI. I wouldn’t be where I am now if she didn’t believe me and I’m glad to say I said it before I left. I hope somehow I can see her Eva and John who I knew and just tell them I’m sorry for the loss. What an inspirational mum you had.
