Martin Karanja Kahinga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Martin Karanja Kahinga on 2nd September 2022 at Lussengiti Level 4 Hospital. He was the Principal, Renguti Secondary School -Kikuyu Sub County.

Husband to Veronicah Wanjiru Karanja and son of the late Nahashon Kahinga and Tabitha Wanjiru. Father to Jane Wanjiru Nyapara, Antony Kahinga, John Muthama, Stephen Njoroge and Grace Wambui. Father-in-law to Emmanuel Nyapara, Grace Kahinga, Elizabeth Muthama and Cecilia Njoroge.

In-law to Francis Orangi (Kisii), John Kaiba (Nyambari), Godfrey Nderitu (Mungaria, Nyeri) and James Kithuka (Munyu Thika).

Brother to Joseph Mungai Kahinga, Elizabeth Wanja Karanja, James Wainaina Kahinga, Esteri Wairimu Njuguna, Veronicah Njeri Kahuho and the late Teresia Wairimu, Margaret Nyambura Magu, Hezekiah Njoroge, Elizabeth Macharia and Josphat Wakaba.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at his home Kinyogori -next to Kinyogori High school from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Up Funeral Home (Uplands, Nyambari) on 9th September 2022 at 7:30am. Funeral service will be held at St Teresia Catholic Church Murengeti Limuru and thereafter burial at is farm in Kinyogori next to Kinyogori High School.
