It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of our family Martriach Bendette Shihaphu Shikami on 30th July, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital -Mukumu.

Daughter to the late Mzee Daudi Shamwama Mukoto and the late Mama Jeniffer Mutalcale. Loving wife to the late Mzee Ernest Shikami Ichami. Loving mother to the late Wilhermina, the late Clr Henry, the late Patrick, the late Elizabeth, the late Benard, Julliet and the late Dunianzo. Mother-in-law to Jane, Symphrose, Rosemary Violet and Grace.

Sister-in-law to Francis, the late Brown, Charles, Andrew, the late John, Leah, Margaret, Nziya Erick, among others.

Sister to Ann, Regina, the late Alfred, Alphonce, Ignatius, Joachim, the late Bruno, Elizabeth Queen, the late Joseph, Jedinah, Sarah wilinda and Julius.

Grandmother to Caro, Roselyn, the late Mukoto, Timothy, Edwin, Mitchell, Christine, Kelvin Brian Berryl, Wayne, Marjorie, Sharon, Willard, the late Shalom, Lameck Yvonne, Conrad Edel, Sylvia Cynthia, Godwin, Ian, Dennis and Eugine. Great-grandma to many.

The cortege leaves St. Elizabeth – Mukumu Funeral Home on Thursday 11th August, 2022 for the requiem mass, at Holy Rosary Church – Masiyenze, then to her home Shiseno Village, lirhembe Sub-location, Iguhu Location Ikolomeni. Burial will be held on Saturday 13th August, 2022 at her home.
