We announce the funeral of Mary Charity Wauda Mutua (Mayie Mwanjala) who passed away on 15th November 2020 in Australia.
Beloved wife of Anthony Mutua Mwongela and dedicated mother to Janet Manena and Emmanuel Chando.
Daughter of Hubert Chando Mwanjala (late) & Janet Manena Mwanjala. Sister to Rachel, Chao, Grace (late), Deborah, Samuel, Elizabeth & Rebeca.
Daughter in-law to Esther Mwelu & James Mwongela (late). Sister in-law to Judah Kimbio, Muema Kimwele, Peter Macharia (late), Godfrey Nyambu, Florence Mwicigi, Rama Mboje, Caroline & Howard Sakwa, Diana & Samwel Githu, Judy & Stephane Hout Marchand & Paul Mwongela. Dear Aunty, Grandma, Cousin and Friend to many.
Mayie’s funeral service will be on Thursday 17/12/2020 at ACK St Barnabas Langata at 10am following a burial ceremony at Langata cemetry from 12.00 noon.
In observing COVID-19 protocols, the Family will share an internet link for the prayers on 14th & 15th and a Youtube channel for the funeral service

Such a beautiful person. I met her in the early eighties through her friend Joyce in MFA and never saw her again. RIP Mary and may God give strength and comfort to your family.
