Mary Gakai Muibau

1934 – 2018

The family of Mary Gakai Muibau announce with sadness, her passing on after a long illness.

Wife of the late Muibau Gathungu. Mother of Hiuhu and Mweni, Christine and Meoli, Nduni, Wambui and Yusuf, Thagichu and Wairimu, Kiarie and Kariuki.

Sister of Mumbi, the late Kiarie, Njuhi and Virginia. Grandmother of Gakai, Sian, Abdi, Marvin, Leina, Monica, Daudi and Davy among others. Great grandmother and aunt of many.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at her home at Riruta, Kikuyu Road.

The funeral mass will be on Friday 7th December 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Riruta from 11am, and thereafter the interment at Langata Cemetery.
