It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved mother Mary Gathoni Mwihia.

Daughter of the late Kibira Waruhiu and Nancy Muthoni. Wife of the late Mwihia Wamae. Loving mother of Dr. Francis Kimani (former Director of Medical Services), John Mathai (formerly of Kamiu and D.E.B Kangaru Primary Schools), Beauty Wanjiru (Narumoru) and Nancy Maina (of Muranga T.T.C). Mother-in-law of Christine Kimani (formerly of St. Mark TTC Kigari), the late Purity Mathai, Miriam Mathai, Michael Njoroge, Peter Maina (Riverline Flora Ltd).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Gerish Hotel, Embu for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home Embu on Thursday 12/11/2020 at 8.00am. The funeral service will be held at her son’s farm in Kutus, Kirinyaga County.

Fare thee well mum till we meet again. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servant.
