It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mary Kanini Muthama of D.M.K Muathe and Associates which occurred on 8th July 2020 at Aga Khan University Hospital.
Daughter of Daniel Muthama Muathe and Petronilla Muthoki Muthama. Sister of Kennedy Muathe Muthama and Ruth Mbulwa Muthama. Sister in-law of Elizabeth Nzisa Ken. Aunt of Hope Mueni, Sarah Muthoki and David Muthama. Grand-daughter of Samuel Muathe Nduto, the late Beth Mbulwa Muathe, the late David Nzuma, the late Peter Kithii Mwei, Rebecca Kanini Kithii, the late Peter Kimilu, Solomon Kimilu, Joseph Kimilu among others.
Niece to the late Elijah Muia, Ruth Mutio, Esther Mwikali, Anne Ngina, Solomon Munyaka, Irene Kavindu, Zipporah Muthina, Jackson Muasya, Justus Kimiluithe late Makau Kithii, Angela Muthoni, Abel Nguyo, Magdalene Mulandi, Beatrice Mutio, Gabriel Mwei, Solomon Malingu, Andrew Mbatha, Isaac Musyoki, Fred Kasimba, Lawrence Mutie, the late Julius Wambua, Alfred Mulandi, Rebecca Muia, Catherine Wanjiru, the late Jane Nthenya, Jacinta Nguyo, Lucy Mwai, Winnie Nduku, Eunice Mwende, Anne Mwikali, Ndunge, Triza, Syombua among others.
Cousin of Felix, Jacintah, Mercy, Tito, Sammy, Caleb, Mutinda, Denno, Davie, Esther, Lydia, Joshua, Caleb, Precious, Mwendwa, Blessing, Shaddy, Kasimba, Mumbi, Mary, Joy, Nthambi, Muthoka, Mumbua, Mutuku, Ndinda, Kasiva, Rebecca, Malia, Nthenya, Kalekye, Mwendwa, Faith, Brian, Steve, Allan, Brenda, Mercy and Rachael.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her parents’ residence in Syokimau Ishara Drive.
The body will leave Umash Funeral Home on 18th July 2020 at 7.00am to her parents home in Mango Village, Mwala Sub-County Machakos County. Burial will take place the same day.

It was on Wednesday evening when the news of your sickness reached us in a great shock. I can imagine how I saw you lying on the hospital bed life less. I thought it was a dream till the Doc called us to view you for the last time.. I had to gain courage and walk to the room. God,,this was the darkest night in my life.Smiling Mary,,Dance with angels till we meet again.
It’s a sad moment to the entire Fraternity of Elder Muthamas to loose such a young gal, the upcoming leader, Mary 😭we loved you and long to see you grow but our God whom we believe in Him loved you most, for He has called you Home, we accept it and allow to go to everlasting world to sing with angels. Blessed are the Dead which die in the LORD from henceforth: Yea, saith the SPIRIT, that they may rest from their Labours, and their Works do follow them.
