Grandmother of Kevin, Morris, Ian, Maureen, Maryjoy, Collins, Annette, Gloria and Alex. Auntie of many. Sister of Jacinta Wangechi Ngatia and Stephen K. Chengecha, the late Esther Nyaruai Kabia, Richard Wanyiri, Hannah Wambui Kiriti, John Ndegwa and Veronica Wangui.
