Mary Mati – Murira (CUK Council Member)

We regret to announce the untimely demise of Mrs. Mary Mati- Murira,a Council Member of The Co-operative University of Kenya which occurred on 4th October, 2017 at the Nairobi Hospital.

Daughter of Japhlet Mati Kimotho and the late Elishiba Mati of Nthambo village, Tharaka Nithi. Loving wife of Simon Murira. Cherished mother of Joy Kanini Murira. Emmanuel Stephen Murira,Victoria Grace Waceke and Mark George Wakayu. Sister of the late Caroline Wania, Josyline Muthoni &Joseph Bullut (Eldoret). Florine Mati & David Mbugua (USA), Nelly Mwangi & Loyford Mati (Tharaka Nithi County) and Clare Joy & Eric Munene (Wiselinks). Daughter-in-love of the late Stephen Murira & late Gladys Murira. Sister-in-love of Wairimu, late Kinguru. Edward, late Njeri.Ann, Eva & George Murira, Rachael & Daniel Giteru. Sarah & David Mwaura. Auntie of Linda, Mark. Brian, Mwensh, Jayden, Ayden.

Family and Friends are meeting at her Nairobi residence and PCEA St.Andrews Church from 5.30pm. The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral home on Friday 13th Oct 2017 at 8am,followed by funeral serviceat PCEA Nairobi West church from 10am. Burial will take place at their home, Gathanji, Githunguri, Kiambu.
