It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Mary Muthoni Gathigia Gachoka, which occurred on 13th June 2019.
Wife of Mr. Ephantus Gachoka Kanyi. Daughter of the late Nahashon Mwai Mureithi, the late Zipporah Ngima Mwai & the late Grace Wambura Mwai. Mother of Peter Mwai & Mary Wanjiku, Kanyi Gachoka & Claire Wanjiku and Susannah Wanjiru. Grandmother of Zipporah Muthoni, Erick Muriithi, Blessing Wakini, Gachoka N. Kanyi, Muthoni Kanyi, Kaylin Wambui, Wanjiru Kanyi and many others. Sister of the late Joseph Muriithi, the late Margaret Wairimu, Esther Wangui, Richard & Priscillah Mwangi, the late James Mureithi & th.e late Peninah Mureithi, Serah Wairimu Mwai, Joan & Charles Mbuthia,Joel &Agnes.Mathenge, Annette Wangui, Caroline & Kaminju Mwangi and Michael & Patriciah Mubiri. Aunt of Pauline Wanjohi and Serah Wambui, among others.
A funeral meeting will be held at Sagret Hotel on Monday 17th June, at 6.00pm.
Memorial service will be held at SDA Nairobi South Church, South C on 18th June, 2019 at 12.00pm.
The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, on Wednesday 19th June, 2019 at 7.30am. The Funeral service and burial will be held in Mweiga Nyeri, starting from 11.00am.
