It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the calling to glory of our beloved Matriach Mary Muthoni Munyi on Sunday 17th February 2019.

Wife of Wilson Victor Munyi. Mother of John Kamau, Luizer Wangechi, Jacqueline Wakini, Anita Njoki, Louisa Wangechi Njoroge and Pascal Kamau. Sister of the late John Jomace Kamau, Sammy Lui Wangondu, James Kariuki, the late Irene Nyarnbura and Tony Mzee. Sister-in-law of the late Leah Kamau, Mary Lui, Judy Kamla, Margaret Mzee, the late Mwalimu Joseph and Deborah Wanyonyi, the late Bramwel and late Mary Kanyue, David and Rosaline Nyagah, Ambassador James and Beatrice Simani, John and Ruth Mwakitawa, Sammy and Margaret Munyi, the late Hon. Silas and Grace Ita, Amos and Heather Muigai, Samson and the late Justa Munyi, Ernest and Ann Munyi. Mother in-law of Elizabeth Bayo Kamau, James Mugane, Anthony Njau and Solomon Kagika. Doting grandmother of Angela, Christopher, Anuarita, Natasha, Manuela, Christian and Megan Kagika. Loving Aunty, Cousin and Friend of many.

A requiem mass to celebrate her life will be held on Monday 25th February 2019 at Don Bosco Shrine, Upper Hill at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 7.30am for funeral mass at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Embu Town on Wednesday 27th February 2019 starting at 11.00am. Thereafter burial will be at their home at Kathuuri Village, Mbeti North, Embu
