It is with a heavy heart and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our Mum, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Mary Ndige Mauki after short illness.

Beloved wife to the late John Mauki Kamundi. Daughter to the late Gakabu Ciarunore and Late Maria Kanini. Step Daughter to Gaterina Mbura. Adored mother to Robert Mwambia (Business man), Late Naomi Kathure, Martin Gitonga (ACCI Juja), Mercy Muthoni (KEWI), Doreen Karauki (Chuka High Sch.), Anthony Kimathi (Gaceraka Sec. Sch.) and Reuben Mwenda (KLRC / judiciary). Mother-in-law to Priscilla Muthoni, Ruth Monda, James Taari, Ignatius Mugambi, Jane Mwadime and Phery Kwamboka. Sister to Kaindi, Kayogo, Muthengi, Ciamaitha, Mutegi, Nyaga, the late kathao, Karimi, Kanyua, Nchuura and Kanoti. Grandmother to Beatrice, Murugi, Muthomi, Mugendi, Gacembi, Muthukumi, Kathomi, Moraa, Mwende, Munene, Wangai, Mwenda, Mushindi, Promise, Prince, Karimi, Precious, Robin, Acqualine, Mark, Meagan and Liam. Great-grandmother to Anthony, Muthee, Sharon and Carson.

Family, friends and well wishers are meeting for burial arrangements at her home, Opposite KEWI Chiakariga Campus, at 4.00pm every day.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home – Embu on Thursday, 18th March, 2021, at 9.00am, then proceed for funeral service and burial rites at her home in Ntugi Village, Chiakariga Sub-location, Tharaka Nithi County.

Blessed are those who die in The Lord. Mum we all know you are with The Lord.
