Mary Ngunju Ndirangu

1928 – 2018

The family of the Late Mary Ngunju Ndirangu accepts with humility her promotion to glory on 3rd November 2018 after a long illness bravely borne.

She was daughter to the late Kibira Gatuiyi and the late Lucia Wangari (Nyagitui). Wife to the late Simon Ndirangu Thumbi and co wife to the late Susan Nyawira Ndirangu. Stepmother to Philip Mathenge, Angelica Nyaruai Mathenge, Jacinta Muthoni Muthui, Joseph Muchiri, late Francis Kabai, Cecilia Wanjiku Gatheru, Grace Wanjiru Gichuki and Esther Wagaki Kairu. Sister of the late Wanjiru (Nyaitaha), late Rukwaro and Late Wang’ondu. Auntie to the Kabais of Kiganjo and Ng’arua, Wamahiga Nguyos of Subukia, Muthoni Kiraguris of Marmanet, John Kariukis of Rumuruti, Wachoro Gachokas of Gitathini and Wanjiru Rukwaros of Mwenje — Ng’arua. She was also dear auntie to the late Muthoni, late Wangari, late Daniel Chege,Wacuka and Mary Ngunju of Ithe-Kahuno.

Family and friends are meeting at Antonio’s Grill (City Centre), The Other Place (Umoja), Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Mathenge Kanyoro’s home at Kariko (Giakanja) and the home of the late Mary Ngunju at Kihato, Naromoru.

The cortege leaves Outspan Hospital Mortuary, Nyeri on Saturday, 10th November 2018 at 7am for funeral service at AIPCA church, Kihato starting at 11am. Burial shall follow thereafter at her home at Kihato – Naromoru.
